Local Environment
Manly, the Gateway to Sydney’s Northern Beaches is a Peninsula surrounded by sea on three sides and offers 18 beaches, coves and inlets to swim, surf and sail in. Surrounding parklands and views of the ocean provide perfect scenic walks and the many great surf beaches attract a strong surfing influence to the area. The narrow strip of land between harbour and ocean known as The Corso, and provides plenty of shopping and on weekends a market is also **set**up featuring locally made products.

Dining in Manly is easy, with over eighty restaurants in the area offering a variety of foods to suit any budget, with many of these located on the beach or harbour. For the partygoers or quiet drinkers, there are several nightclubs and pubs to cater to you.
