Australian Academy of Sport and Fitness courses are designed to offer students the best possible vocational physical education that can be achieved, while studying in one of the most beautiful parts of the world; Sydney, Australia.

Australian Academy of Sport and Fitness courses will teach you how to live a healthier and fitter life, and give you the ability to teach others how to be healthier. All of our teachers and tutors are fully qualified to give you the greatest assistance to achieve your goals.
All courses involve 20 hours study per week in streams of 4 hour blocks each day - Monday to Friday.

At enrollment, students are placed into education delivery streams for study Monday to Friday as follows:
Stream 1: 8am-12pm.
Stream 2: 12pm-4pm;or
Stream 3: 4pm-8pm

Students are required to study within the allocated stream allotments, Monday to Friday to achieve 20-hours study each week of term to satisfy immigration requirements.

Step One
First decide a length of study
AASF students have the opportunity to choose several student visas. These include:

  • 12 Months SRF30206 Certificate III in Fitness
  • 12 Months SRF40206 Certificate IV in Fitness
  • Each course requires issuing of a separate COE. Progression through to Cert III and then onto Cert IV as a suite is recommended due to higher education requirements. In total, this course can be 24 months duration (2-year visa).

    Step Two - Choose your possible career path

    PERSONAL TRAINER

    As personal trainers are in control of the all forms of fitness activities and responsible for the safety of their customers, this course enables certificate IV graduates to apply a wide range of techniques skills while effectively running a small business.     GYM INSTRUCTOR &/OR GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR

    This course will teach the fundamentals to exercise prescription, resitance training/gym programming and teach the freelance group exercise and the neccssary skill to conduct a safe but challenging group exercise class.     SPORTS ADMINISTRATOR


    The course aims to familiarise participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in an office environment and should also assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable basic roles to be performed as an assistant in a sports centre.

    The course aims to familiarise participants with the knowledge of the sports industry and should also assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable basic roles to be performed as an assistant in a sports centre.
